The paintings, drawings, art and craft shown on this site have been created by Dr Donna Winderbank-Scott. Donna graduated from Imperial college in 2004 after studying medicine. After starting out in surgical training, she defected to Neonatology and now paints, illustrates and makes a mess with glue and icing in her spare time.
Previous Achievements and Commissions include:
2002: Abstract art installation for the Alternative Therapy Room, Department of Oncology, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.
2003: Surgical art for the Academic Department of Surgery at St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington. This included a series of oil paintings as well as a large wall canvas (1.5m tall by 3m wide) on recent technological developments in Surgery.
2004: Winning design for the AICSM Crest (Association of Imperial College School of Medicine).
2004: Oil Painting for the Dept. Orthopaedics at St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington.
2007: Design and Illustration of patient information leaflets for the Department of Vascular Surgery, St. Mary's Hospital, London.
2009: Poster design for London Paediatric Trainee Committee
2012: Illustrations for a forthcoming Surgical textbook for medical students.
